This is a quick breakfast (lunch! dinner!) snack that you can whip up in a few minutes. It will provide lots of delicious slow-release energy to keep you going on those busy days. Use a dry pan to start cooking some bacon which you’ve chopped up into bite-size chunks (or use those convenient bacon cubes). When the bacon is almost done, open a can of baked beans and chuck it on top. The sauce will begin to bubble fairly quickly. Fry an egg in the beans. Et voila. Enjoy!

    I have had a similar breakfast recently, but was a bit shocked to find the carb content of baked beans is pretty high compared to the protein you’re getting. Tastes great though.

    Beans in themselves are great, it’s when baked beans manufacturers add sugar to the tomato sauce that things start going downhill. Still tasty as ever.
