I tried to recreate this decadent coffee that I had in Italy recently. Due to the nature of nutella (i.e. it’s so awesome that it snobs other ingredients because it doesn’t NEED them) it is not so easy to mix in with coffee. The best is to melt it for a few seconds in the microwave before attempting to mix in. I used a generous teaspoon with each coffee. Serve with a spoon.

Also – don’t bother with a cafe americano, it is far too watery and the result will be poor. You need to make a thick, creamy espresso for this one. Cooked on the hob, properly.
