Juicing and juice diets are all the rage at the moment. I’ve read quite a few articles about the down sides of juice diets (where one drinks only juices for some days) and have no intention on trying out this detox method for more than one day or encouraging anyone to do so. You will need the following in equal proportions; we used about a handful of each item and one cup of ginger ale to make 2 large glasses of juice:

– lettuce

– rucola

– spinach or kale

– parsley

– apple

– 1/4 to 1/2 inch of fresh ginger

– juice of 1 lemon

Use a juicer or else a normal blender and then pass through a fine sieve. Serve chilled for extra enjoyment!

    Tried one similar, just don’t put too much ginger in, if you want some good inspiration have a look at http://www.rebootwithjoe.com some really nice juices on there. The one I really like is parsnip, carot, orange and pineapple
