Above baby squid accompanied by linguine in squid ink, below seafood soup both from La Oliva. The definition of finger licking goodness. I was seriously impressed with the soup, which was more of a bisque than a soup really. Creamy and thick, and chock-a-block with shellfish, it more than satisfied my craving for seafood.

Above – easily one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Lobster with butter sauce from Brasserie Bark. Giving the phrase ‘melts in your mouth’ a whole new meaning. It felt like my mouth melted in the lobster. I was high on lobster. This is what I’d order for my last meal. Below, our entrée of mixed shellfish from the same restaurant, a mermaid’s dream? Especially that oyster, it was oozing sex. I kid you not.
