This week I got myself a new gadget – the Philips Airfryer – I’m loving it so far; it achieves the deep fry effect with very little or no oil.. sounds good, right?
I’m a little bit obsessed with French beans at the moment. It’s one of those phases. When I was browsing for recipes having to do with the airfryer I came across this and it immediately caught my attention (scroll down).
So simple.. and SO good either as a side dish or for snacking.
You will need:
150-200g Fresh or frozen French beans (if fresh, trim off the edges)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan (or other grated cheese such as Keflatori)
Mix the oil and cheese until you have a paste. Chuck in the beans and coat with your mixture. If you’re using the airfryer set at 200C for about 15 minutes, tossing half way through. It should take approximately the same time in an oven, however it is a good idea to preheat in this case.
Serving suggestion – with cottage cheese and Parma ham
